HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 62-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his face and head in an apparent robbery early Saturday morning in the parking lot of Holland Pallett.
According to Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol near 96th Avenue and Port Sheldon Street near Borculo came across the man about 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, who was outside a vehicle and had been “seriously assaulted.”
The victim whose name is being withheld, was transported to an area hospital and his wallet was stolen in the assault.
The suspects are described as two unknown males wearing black ski masks, wielding metal pipes according to police.
