Janice Diekema, age 81 of Holland, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Lakeside Vista in Holland.

Janice was born in Holland July 27, 1940, to Henry and Harriet Boerighter. She attended Calvin CRC and most recently Fellowship Reformed Church.

Janice was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Diekema.

She is survived by her husband Delwyn Diekema; children Dawn (Dan) Beck, Steve (Jo) Diekema, Thomas (Karen) Diekema, Richard (Julie) Diekema, Heidi Villarreal, and Jodie (Jeremy) Erdman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Arloa Roels and Charley (Adrea) Boerighter; in-laws Vonnie DeVries and Joy Wessling; many extended family and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate Janice’s life will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice of Holland or to Holland Christian Schools.
