Sandra Kay (Nyenhuis) Gunn, age 71 of Holland, passed away on January 1, 2022. Sandy loved spending time with her toes in the sand, enjoying another Michigan sunset, listening as the waves gently crashed upon the shore. An avid shopper, Sandy loved the thrill of the hunt when it came to bargains and was always excited to show off her latest thrifting find.

She had worked at Herman Miller for 40 years, starting on the floor and working her way up through the ranks to retire as a material planner. Above all, Sandy cherished her family, and she was always there to lift them up in love.

A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, we will miss her deeply. Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter Krista Gunn, parents Harold and Shirley Nyenhuis, and sister Lorna Dawn Nyenhuis. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Vic; Daughter Stephanie Zeerip (Dane Tadman); Grandchildren: Devin (Lynnzee) Zeerip, Trent LaNew, Jordan Zeerip, Torie Zeerip; Sister Mary Gilligan; Brother Rick (Sue) Nyenhuis; Her WCW Girls; Many beloved extended family and friends.

There will be a service held on Friday, January 7, 2022, with the family greeting visitors from 1:00-3:00 pm, and a service to follow at 3:00 pm. Following the service, there will be a reception of cookies and coffee. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Foundry Church. A Celebration of Sandy’s life will also be held at a later date.
