Juan Martinez Sr.

Juan was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and retired from L.W. Lamb construction. Juan was a family man who enjoyed morning walks. He loved spending time with family and devoted much of his time with his many grandchildren. He loved to travel between Michigan, Texas, and Mexico, spending his time with countless family members and friends. He will always be remembered as a kind, humble, caring man willing to help others.

He was preceded in death by his parents Soledad Martinez and Maria Loretto Martinez; siblings Leonardo Martinez, Maximina Rodriguez, Salvador Martinez, Fabiano Martinez; and grandchild Angel Martinez.

He is survived by his wife Maria L. Martinez; children Juanito (Fransisca) Martinez Jr., Maria A. (Mariano) Ramirez, Clara (Gilberto) Martinez, Ignacio (Rachel) Martinez, Ivan (Magali) Moreno; Siblings Marciana (Nicolas) Zamora, Genaro (Zulema) Martinez, Enrique (Gala) Martinez, Fidel (Sarah) Martinez, Jose (Alicia) Martinez, Juan Manuel (Sue) Martinez, Ester Martinez, Susana (Kenny) Martinez; grandchildren, Zoraida, Miguel, Andrea, Irene, Sonia, Barbara, Edgar, Ignacio Jr., Nayarit, Yahaira, Jasmine, Janette, Vanessa, Juanito III, Alexander, Leo; 7 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 am, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 W. 13th St., Holland. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 pm and Monday from 5-8 pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
