DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kyle Kuzma was the hero for Washington. Kuzma hit a game-winning three-pointer in the Wizards’ 119-116 overtime win over the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night.
Kuzma, who grew up in the Flint, Michigan area, led Washington with 26 points and Bradley Beal chipped in with 25 points. Jerami Grant had 28 points to lead Detroit, Cade Cunningham scored 21 and Isaiah Stewart finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Wizards improve to 15-and-11 while the Pistons drop to 4-and-20 as their losing streak is up to 10 games.
The Pistons tip off against the New Orleans Pelicans on the road tomorrow night.
