Jack D. Chrispell, age 88 of West Olive, passed away on December 5, 2021. Ask any one of his kids, and they would all agree – no dad around was better than Jack. A wonderful man who never raised his voice and always had a chuckle, Jack was a loving and patient father (whose patience came in handy when he taught all of his kids how to drive!). Jack felt at peace outdoors, spending free time hunting, fishing, and searching for mushrooms. No stranger to the kitchen, Jack was known to cook up his catch of the day. His family will miss his fish frys, fried chicken, and homemade beer and wine.

A loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jack will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Roger Chrispell, Elaine Strowenjans, Martin Chrispell, and Trudy Scheerhorn.

He is survived by his children: Steven and Glenda Chrispell, Paula and David Wolters, Glenda Chrispell, Tracy Joseph, Robbin Chrispell, William Chrispell; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); sister Patricia and James Embrey.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
