DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings five-game winning streak was halted with a 5-2 loss to the Nashville Predators last night at Little Caesars Arena.
Ryan Johansen and Roman Josi gave the Preds a 2-0 lead in the first period, then Nick Cousins, Eeli Tolvanen and Dante Fabbro scored third-period goals to close out the scoring.
Nashville goalie David Rittich had a quiet night in net as he only made 14 saves.
Robby Fabbri and Michael Rasmussen each had a goal for Detroit.
The Red Wings open a two-game road trip with a stop in St. Louis to skate against the Blues tomorrow night.
