DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings notched their fourth straight win with a 4-3 shootout victory over the Seattle Kraken at Little Caesars Arena.
Adam Erne scored the game winner and goalie Thomas Griess made 21 saves.
The red Wings continue a three-game homestand Saturday against the New York Islanders.
The Red Wings have placed forward Tyler Bertuzzi in Covid-19 protocol. He has nine goals and nine assists in 20 games and is the third player from Detroit to go into protocol this season. As the NHL’s only unvaccinated player, Bertuzzi is not allowed to travel to Canada and has missed two games in Montreal and one in Toronto.
Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond is the NHL Rookie of the Month for November. Raymond had five goals and seven assists in 14 games last month.
This marks the second straight Rookie of the Month for Detroit, after defenseman Moritz Seider got the honor in October.
