HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — City of Holland residents interested in making their homes more energy efficient can learn more at an open house hosted by city officials and Holland’s Board of Public Works.
Set for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at Holland Civic Center Place, 150 W. Eighth St. in Holland.
This open house is devoted to giving homeowners, including landlords, a chance to talk to city officials and staff from Holland’s BPW about the energy retrofit program and requirements for participating. Certified contractors will be present to help residents understand how to get started. Residents who have gone through the program will also be available to talk about their experiences with the program.
Attendees can pick up a free bundle of 36-LED light bulbs, while supplies last.
