HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Tulip Time Festival officials have announced the capstone music act: Country music singer and songwriter, Chase Bryant.
His show will be the 2022 festival’s final musical act, set for 7 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2021, at the Holland Civic Center Place.
Bryant, a singer and writer, is known for “Take It On Back” and “Little Bit of You.” He was just 21, with two Top 10 singles and touring with Tim McGraw and Brantley Gilbert but also experiencing significant anxiety and depression.
He survived a 2018 suicide attempt and explores struggles, love, trust, and resilience with his debut full-length album, “Upbringing”
“In honor of Tulip Time’s comeback year, we hope Chase’s journey of bringing creativity and beauty out of darkness will be an inspiration for all,” said Gwen Auwerda, the festival’s executive director. “We’re coming back strong this spring, and Chase’s vulnerable voice speaks of the truth and joy that can be found in the aftermath of difficulty. We’re excited for Tulip Time goers to relax and enjoy a night of fun.”
Tulip Time Festival is set for May 7-15, 2022.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at tuliptime.com, or in person at the Tulip Time Festival box office, 42 W. Eighth St. in Holland, or by phone (800) 822-2770.
