Susie worked for Johnson Controls and was a caregiver for over 18 years for Evergreen Commons and Comfort Keepers.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.

She is survived by her son Robert Burns (Jennifer) Creighton Jr. and daughter Tine Marie (William) DeCoste; grandchildren Robert “R.J.” (Valerie) Creighton, Autumn Creighton, Kesley (Mike) Stoddard, Leigha DeCoste, Brayden DeCoste, and Keeton DeCoste; great-grandchildren Layla, Myia, Selena, and Stella; brothers and sisters John Russell, Elizabeth Smith, Joseph “Leroy” Russell, Charlotte (Peter) Ekster, Pat (Beverly) Russell, and Rita Ann Pegg; many extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Susie’s life will be 12noon Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Lakeshore Memorial Services. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the service Saturday, October 23, at the funeral home.
