Francisco “Cisco” Maximilian Garcia was born October 10, 1975, in East Chicago, Indiana. In 1988, his family moved to the Holland area. Cisco was married in 2002 to Erin Joy Knoll, of whom they had 3 children together. He was a lover of all sports and especially the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls and a staunch Michigan State fan, often arguing that MSU was better than Michigan with his eldest son, Maximilian.
He loved watching Sunday Football with his family. He was a member of Rose Park Baptist Church and was saved in January of 2002. He took pride in working with the Bus Ministry there as well. He had been working at Charter House Innovations as a sheet metal fabricator and was very proud of his work when it was helped to build many businesses in the community.
He took pride in his job and traveled to see the completed work as well. Cisco was loved among everyone and was often described as a happy man who told some of the corniest jokes and always looking to see the best in everyone. There was never a person he could not make smile or laugh.
His favorite movie of all time was Oblivion which he often bought at the store thinking he had not bought it yet, although he had bought it 3 times already. He loved sharing a Coca-Cola with is kids and grilling steak for the family. Cisco was known for his big bear hugs, his baseball hats, and his Poland Springs water. He was so proud of his children’s accomplishments and could not wait to see them live out their dreams. He loved sneaking out to have dates with Erin and later come home to tell the kids. They always knew but it was the fun of it.
