DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Average gas prices in Michigan have decreased slightly over the past week but are expected to remain high for the foreseeable future.
The statewide average is now $3.21 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is only a penny less than a month ago and remains well over a dollar higher than this time a year ago.
AAA says with supply and demand largely in sync, motorists are starting to see some stability at the pump. But they say ongoing high crude oil prices will keep gas prices elevated through at least this week and possibly beyond.
