UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Weather conditions compelled Tigers’ officials to postpone yesterday’s scheduled home game against the visiting White Sox, with the contest to be made up this coming Monday afternoon. While Chicago now travels to Cleveland today for a day/night doubleheader at Progressive Field, Detroit has this evening off before hosting the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park tomorrow night.
Max Kepler hit two homers and drove in three runs as the visiting Minnesota Twins held off the Cubs last night, 5-4. Idle this evening, Chicago is home to the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field tomorrow for a day/night doubleheader.
