HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 65-year-old Holland-area man was critically injured after being hit by a car at 120th Avenue and Riley Street in Holland Township.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill indicated the crash happened at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021. The driver of the vehicle, who had been turning from westbound Riley Street to southbound 120th Avenue when the crash happened, was not physically hurt.
The injured man had been walking using the crosswalk, according to Dill. He went by AMR Ambulance to Holland Hospital in critical condition.
This crash remains under investigation by Sheriff’s deputies.
