HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County is offering food-safety certified-manager class and exam next month
The class is limited to 20 students, and is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at 12220 Fillmore St. in West Olive. Student will pay $150, which includes the class, exam, and book.
Food-safety managers who are certified can earn between $29,000 and $61,000 a year. The U.S. Bureau of Labor shows the median salary is $56,590: bls.gov/ooh/management/food-service-managers.htm
