Carl Harvey Van Bronkhorst, age 73, of Zeeland greeted his Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen Anne; his children: Cary and Lynae Van Bronkhorst, Kayleen and Justin Keatley, and Kimberly and Rick Bartz; 7 grandchildren: his siblings: Ruth Ann and Rich Meyer, Jim and Muriel Van Bronkhorst, Kristi and Jose Medina, and Lee and Cathy Van Bronkhorst; and his sister-in-law Renie and John Bruischat.
Carl was born in Zeeland, MI to William and Barbara Van Bronkhorst who preceded him in death along with his brother Mike.
Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War stationed in Germany. There he learned the skills of a marksman that he honed for the remainder of his life. He passed on the love of the outdoors, hunting, trapping, and gardening to his family. He retired from a career as a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic.
