HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The storm-related power outages that affected phones at the Allegan County Services Complex (ACSC) has been resoloved, according to county officials.
The county’s health department phone lines are now working, though email contact options are also still available.
People who need to reach the county’s environmental health officials should email alleganeh@allegancounty.org.
Those with COVID-19 questions, are asked to email covidvaccine@allegancounty.org.
Earlier:
Authorities detected the outage at 11 p.m. Tuesday night, when the discovered severed fiber connectivity between the ACSC and downtown networks. While the ACHD building remains open, the phone issues because of the network outage continue.
Allegan County Information Services anticipates the network issue to be resolved by end of day.
County officials are asking individuals who call the health department to leave a message; calls will be returned as soon as possible. Others who need a more-immediate response should email the office they need:
