David J. Morren, age 53, of Allendale, Michigan, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
David was the youngest of four children born to James and Joyce Morren on August 30, 1967, in Zeeland, Michigan. David attended Zeeland Schools and graduated class of 1986. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves. Throughout his life, David pursued his love of driving and worked as a semi-truck driver. He was most recently employed at DSA International as a Hilo driver. David met his wife, Melissa, at Huizenga Food Market through Melissa’s father, and they recently celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on June 23. David was a member of Community Reformed Church in Zeeland.
David was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joyce (Wolters) Morren; in-laws James and Grace Teasley;
David is survived by his wife, Melissa (Teasley); children Megan & Andy Steffens and Jacob Morren; Five Grandchildren Serenity, Victoria, Caleb, Isaiah, and Adelyn; Brothers and Sisters, Kim & Mike Klaasen, Doug & Carol Morren, and Dan & Rachel Morren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St., Zeeland. Rev. Greg Ten Brink and Rev. Kurt Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery
The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 5-8:00 pm and also from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Wednesday at Community Reformed Church.
