HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of Warren resident Jacob Johnson, 26, in a traffic crash at 4:20 on Friday, July 9, 2021.
Mr. Johnson died while driving a 2014 GMC Sierra West on 108th Avenue just west of 56th Street in Lee Township.
Crash reconstruction team members indicated initial findings show he didn’t stop for the northbound CSX train.
Allegan County sheriff’s deputies were assisted on the scene by Lee Township firefighters, LIFE ambulance, Michigan State Police, CSX Railroad police and the Warren police.
