DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers host the AL Central Division-leading Chicago White Sox tonight in the first of a three-game weekend series.
Detroit is in third place in the division, 12 and a half games behind Chicago. The Tigers are coming off a doubleheader sweep at Cleveland Wednesday night.
White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada will likely miss the series after being injured earlier this week.
Casey Mize gets the start for the Tigers and the White Sox send Lance Lynn to the bump in the opener. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
