HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Showers and storms will define West Michigan’s weekend, according to National Weather Service meteorologists based in Grand Rapids.
Strong winds — 40-plus mph — could be possible along and south of a line from Holland to Lansing late Friday, June 25, 2021, with heavy rain likely Saturday and Sunday.
That could cause localized flooding in urban and low-lying areas. Rising water in rivers and streams could create dangerous recreational conditions.
Each day carries some chance of severe weather, with some wind or hail damage possible.
Area residents should keep their digital devices charged, and check the forecast periodically.
