HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Charter Township’s board of trustees is set to meet at 7 p.m. today, June 17, 2021.
Agenda items include:
- Approval of preliminary condominium requests at 11554 Greenly and Patriot Meadows — 300 North Franklin
- Discuss the proposed 6-year capital-improvement plan for 2022 through 2027
- Decide whether or not to approve a fireworks permit request from Wolverine Fireworks Display, Inc. for July 2 fireworks at Macatawa Golf Club.
The board has set aside time for a police update from Ottawa County Sheriff’s officials, Township Manager Steve Bulthuis and public comments.
The Sheriff’s report notes deputies responded to 1,434 calls for service, including 477 traffic stops resulting in 270 tickets issued, and 125 traffic crashes; as well as 144 medical calls. The report highlights deputies’ life-saving efforts, which includes the May 13 incident in which E-unit deputies Jason Quinn and Sgt. Greg Rotman saved the life of a 45-year-old man who’d overdosed on drugs.
The 7 p.m. board of trustees meeting is set at the Township Hall, 353 N. 120th Ave.
