DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers fell to the Seattle Mariners 9-6 in 11 innings last night at Comerica Park.
Seattle secured the win after scoring five times in the top of the 11th.
Robbie Grossman hit a two-run homer and Jake Rogers had a solo shot for Detroit.
In this afternoon’s rubber match Tyler Alexander gets the start for the Tigers out of the bullpen, while Justus Sheffield takes the mound for the Mariners. The opening pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
