David R. Diepenhorst Sr., age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
David was truly an amazing, one-of-a-kind, God-fearing, family man. He will be forever treasured and missed. We are so thankful that he is in his eternal home. We were blessed to have him in our lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann Diepenhorst.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Diepenhorst; son, David F. (Beth) Diepenhorst; daughter, Deb (Patrick) Brown; grandchildren, Kristin (Joe) Finn, Matthew Diepenhorst, Kyle (Kahisha) Bosch, Ryan Bosch, Dan (Kayla) Bosch, Katie Bosch (Daniel Valero); his step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Davina, Kent, Talula; inlaws; Mary (Lloyd) Lubbers, Judy (Rich) Baumann, Sandy DeWys, Roger Wyngarden; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation with the family is 4:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St., Holland, MI 49423.
Funeral Services are 11:00 am on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Christ Memorial Church. 396 Graafschap Rd., Holland, MI 49423.
Burial to take place in Restlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in David’s honor may be given to Holland Christian Schools or Hospice of Holland.
