Michael Parker Jr., age 33 of Holland, passed away on April 11, 2021. Mike was known for his big smile, infectious laugh, and his love of others. A veteran of the United States Marines, Mike served for 6 years, deploying to Afghanistan. After his service, he worked for Thermotron, and later for the United States Postal Service.
In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, playing pool, his softball league, riding his motorcycle, and was an avid hunter. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan and even met members of the team once when traveling.
He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, and we will miss him dearly. Mike was preceded in death by his grandmothers Connie Nelson, Josephine Grigsby, grandfather Elijah Davis, and step-father Mike Parker Sr.
He is survived by his mother Renee Nelson; Father James and Robin Davis; Brothers and sisters: Christy Davis, James Davis Jr., Crystal Parker, Nicole Parker, Nick, and Stacie Nelson, Heather Parker; Grandparents James and Jan Nelson; Many beloved nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, and cousins. Funeral services will be Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Lakeshore House of Prayer at 11:00 a.m. The family will greet visitors at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at North Holland Cemetery.
