HOUSTON, TX (WKZO AM/FM) – Wilson Ramos slugged two of the Detroit Tigers‘ five home runs in an 8-2 win over the Astros in Houston Tuesday night.
Akil Baddoo, Nomar Mazara, and Renato Nunez also homered for Detroit, which has won back-to-back games for the first time since the start of the season.
Matthew Boyd pitched into the seventh to earn his second win.
Jake Odorizzi took the loss in his Houston debut. Myles Straw and Chas McCormick each had RBI’s in the Astros’ fourth straight loss.
In tonight’s series finale, Michael Fulmer gets his first start of the season for the Tigers, while the Astros counter with Lance McCullers Jr.
