Peggye Joyce (McFadden) Hardin was born on November 21, 1929, in Paris, Tennessee, and stepped into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, April 4, 2021, in Holland, Michigan. Peggye was the precious wife of Ray Hardin for over sixty-four years and the loving Mom of Kendal and Linda. Peggye was the happiest spending time with family in her beautiful homes in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, and Pompano Beach, Florida.
She enjoyed cooking for and entertaining her loved ones and this legacy continues with her daughter and granddaughter. Peggye had a powerful faith and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. This encouraged her to be coached in Evangelism Explosion to share the gospel. Her faith was a comfort and carried her through the last, difficult six years. Peggye was preceded in death by her husband Ray, son Kendal and brother James McFadden.
Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter Linda, so loved son-in-law Otty Turrentine and his special hugs and she adored grandchildren Joseph, Jacob, and Katherine. Peggye’s family will be having a private celebration of her life at a later date. Proverbs 3:5-6
Interment will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Arrangements are by the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464.
