OTSEGO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in Otsego are reporting a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Monday.
Just before 4 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the corner of M-89 (Allegan Street) and Kalamazoo Street in the City of Otsego.
Upon arrival, officers found a lone unresponsive 63-year-old male lying in the roadway with severe injuries. Members from the Otsego Fire Department and Plainwell EMS attempted lifesaving measures and transported him to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office and the Otsego Police Department. The name of the man is being withheld until family members are notified.
