On March 13, 2021, Tena Glupker went Home to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Her parents were Siert and Anna (Sietsema) Venhuizen. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on October 6, 1926. She also lived in Allendale and Holland, went to school in Coopersville, and graduated from Holland Christian.
Tena married Howard Glupker on November 1, 1946. They had four children: Jim (Marti) Glupker, John (Debby) Glupker, Jack (Jane) Glupker, and Judy Glupker; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Ann Wiesma; sisters-in-law: Ruth Robbins and Carol Dice; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Glupker (1969), brothers, Richard and Donald Venhuizen, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Tena’s main priority was her family, as she was a stay-at-home mom, and her children always came first. She loved to have family and friends visit, travel, plays card games, and Words With Friends. She enjoyed Bible study and was a member of Immanuel Church.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Immanuel Church, 325 104th Ave. Holland, MI 49423. The family will welcome visitors at church on Wednesday, March 17, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. as well as at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Church or Hospice of Holland.
