LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — As we move clocks back and forth to begin and end Daylight Saving Time every year, it almost always comes with attempts in the Michigan legislature to end the process one way or another.
Once again, bills are being introduced aimed to keep the state on the same schedule all year long and stop the time changes. The current effort would keep the state on Daylight Saving Time all year, keeping the late evening sunsets in the summer and later sunsets in the winter.
Daylight Saving Time starts officially at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, March 14, and ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, November 7 this year. That means clocks will be moved ahead one hour this weekend.
