EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Rocket Watts scored 21 points to lead Michigan State University to a 70-64 win over number-two University of Michigan in East Lansing Sunday.
The Spartans are 15-and-11 and on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.
Chaundee Brown led Michigan with 13 points. Eli Brooks injured his left ankle early in the game and never returned. The Wolverines have lost two out of their last three games and fell to 19-and-3.
The Big Ten Tournament starts Wednesday in Indianapolis.
