A vehicle, driven by a 74-year-old Coopersville woman, after turning west from Mason Drive onto West Randall, “began accelerating, didn’t see the bicyclist, and struck the man from behind,” Luce said.
The bicyclist was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment; the woman was not hurt but was cited at the scene.
