HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 38-year-old Olive Township man is in Ottawa County Jail awaiting formal charges after an alleged home invasion on the 8000 block of 112th Avenue in Olive Township. No one was hurt.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home by residents who reported seeing a man running out of their garage after being confronted by one of the homeowners.
Sheriff’s deputies, including K-9 units, responded to the scene, creating a perimeter that encircled the area where the suspect was. He was taken into custody without incident, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Jeremy Baum.
