HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Despite the weather, Allegan County’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for today, Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, is still on, for anyone with a scheduled appointment.
County health officials are using people to plan on extra travel time, remember to include the 15-minute post-shot observation period and drive cautiously.
Anyone who needs to cancel an appointment today should email covidvaccine@allegancounty.org or call (269) 686-4546 and leave a message.
Anyone living or working in Allegan County who wants the COVID-19 vaccine should sign up through the “I Want the COVID-19 Vaccine” form on www.allegancounty.org/covid.
If you are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine who still needs an appointment can check out partner organizations: Meijer pharmacy, Spectrum Health Zeeland, and the West Michigan Vaccine Clinic.
Signing up for vaccination reserves a dose of the vaccine, the time-slot and staff to deliver the vaccine.
For this reason, health officials are appealing to people to make a single vaccine appointment, instead of signing up for appointments at multiple sites.
People needing help can call the county’s COVID-19 hotline (269) 686-4546 to provide their information. Learn more at: www.vaccinatewestmi.com or www.michigan.gov/covidvaccine.
