WAYLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Wayland Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Monday night.
Just after 9 p.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Windsor Woods Drive on a report of gunshots fired into a residence. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of the shooting, including several apparent bullet holes in the residence.
None of the occupants were struck or injured, and it is believed the suspect(s) fled the scene in a vehicle.
Police note that the shooting appears to be unrelated to a similar shooting incident, which took place on November 1, 2020.
