GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 12, 2025) – It appears that the case of the body of a man in his 20’s discovered on Tuesday afternoon between Jenison and Hudsonville is now closed.
Not much was initially known about the unnamed Caucasian who was found in a wooded area off of Chicago Drive, east of the 18th Avenue intersection, around 1:45 PM. Sheriff’s deputies believe that he had been living nearby, and there were no initial indications as to his identity, or of the circumstances that led to his death.
On Thursday, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Sergeant Allison Anderson said that the man was a 28-year-old from the Lowell area, with notification of his death made to family members, and that foul play is not suspected in the matter. Her office was not expected to disclose any further information .
