HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 24, 2026) – A time for Holland area residents to “explore the world” as winter winds down begins on Tuesday night.
The 2026 Reel Time Film Series, hosted by the Holland International Relations Council, opens with the motion picture, “Dear Future Children.” According to the Holland Youth Advisory Council, who made this selection, the film followed three young female activists in Asia, South America and Africa, advocating social justice, democracy, and climate action.
Other movies in this series, all of which will be screened at 7 PM in Hope College’s Knickerbocker Theatre (86 E 8th St.) include No Other Land (Mar. 10) and Porcelain War (Mar. 24).
The IRC is also teaming with Herrick District Library for two presentations with discussions as part of the “Great Decisions 2026” series at the library (300 S. River Ave.) – one on Tuesday at 10 AM on African Agriculture, and the other next Wednesday at 12 Noon on Fostering a Fourth Democratic Wave.
