EAST LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 22, 2026) – March Magic is just around the corner, as on Sunday, the MHSAA announced district pairings for the girls’ basketball championship tournament. In action involving teams from the Lakeshore:
- In Division 1 at Zeeland West: Zeeland East v. Holland on Monday, Mar. 2 (7 PM), with the winner to face Grand Haven on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (5:30 PM), and Zeeland West v. West Ottawa on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (7 PM). The district final is on Friday, Mar. 6 (7 PM).
- In Division 2 at Hamilton: Allegan v. Hamilton on Monday, Mar. 2 (5:30 PM), with the winner to face Otsego on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (5:30 PM); Hopkins v. South Haven on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (7 PM). The district final is on Friday, Mar. 6 (7 PM).
- In Division 2 at South Christian: Holland Christian v. Grand River Prep on Monday, Mar. 2 (7 PM), with the winner to face Wayland on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (7 PM); Unity Christian v. Godwin Heights on Monday, Mar. 2 (5:30 PM), with the winner to face South Christian on Wednesday, Mar. 4 (5:30 PM). The district final is on Friday, Mar. 6 (7 PM).
- In Division 3 at Saugatuck: Fennville v. Black River on Monday, Feb. 23 (7 PM), with the winner to face Saugatuck on Wednesday, Feb. 25 (5:30 PM; broadcast time 5:10 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van), and Calvin Christian v. Potter’s House Christian on Wednesday, Feb. 25 (7 PM). The district final is on Friday, Feb. 27 (7 PM).
The four division finals will be at the Breslin Center in East Lansing on Saturday, March 21.
