Maria Molina, aged 82, of Holland, passed away on February 15, 2026. Born on March 6, 1943, in Mexico, Maria embodied the spirit of resilience and love from a young age. At just 18, she journeyed to the United States, determined to help support her family back home.
After several years of work and travel, she settled in Holland at the age of 27, where destiny led her to the love of her life, Valentin Molina. Their meeting at the Heinz Factory sparked a romance that would flourish into a devoted marriage, where together they nurtured a warm and loving home for their four children. Maria took great pride in her children, celebrating their achievements in their education and careers with boundless joy.
Maria was also a cherished grandmother. She delighted in spoiling her grandchildren, crafting their favorite meals with a personal touch, always willing to prepare each dish to their individual tastes. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family; she had a green thumb that brought life and beauty to her garden, where she could make anything grow. Her creativity blossomed in her love for sewing, and as well as in the joy she found dancing. Maria also had a deep faith and along with her family, she was actively involved in the St. Francis Parish.
Maria is survived by her husband of 52 years, Valentin Molina; her children: Ramona Molina, Rachel & Joseph Ysasi, Elizabeth & Jason Sutton, Valentin Molina Jr.; grandchildren: Austin, Matthew, Gabriela, and Lucas Ysasi; siblings: Francisca & Jose Chavez, Aniseto Guerrero; as well as extended family and friends.
