HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 13, 2026) – A year-long celebration of this country’s 250th anniversary as it pertains to the Lakeshore opens on Friday at the Holland Museum, and on Monday at Zeeland’s Dekker Huis Museum.
“We the People” is an America250 exhibit that will be on display through next January 11th at the Holland Museum’s Lobby Gallery, according to the Museum’s Executive Director Michelle Stempien.
Zeeland’s portion of this joint exhibit opens with an Open House from 4-7 PM at its museum (37 East Main Ave.), while the Holland Museum will also hold a similar session at its location (31 West 10th St.). Patrons are encouraged to view both displays to get a fuller understanding of this region’s diverse and evolving cultural landscape.
Funding comes from a grant by America250MI, the state’s committee for the US Semiquincentennial established by Governor Whitmer six years ago.
