SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 10, 2025) – A Lakeshore community wants to take on a new look.
On Monday, the Saugatuck City Council approved creating a Branding Advisory Committee to make the city’s symbol consistent across various platforms, including the city’s website, social media, email, and signage. As City Manager Ryan Cummins said during the governing panel’s meeting, it has been 18 years since the current logo was created.
The committee will consist of Cummins, council members Chris Peterson and Lauren Stanton, Historic District Commission Chairman Tim Straker, and Saugatuck Council of the Arts Executive Director Kristin Armstrong. Firms seeking the contract for this project have until January 9th to submit proposals, with more information on the Request for Proposal packet here.
