UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 6, 2025) – Parker Hovey capped a 21-point performance by sinking two free throws with 10 seconds left, as Hope rallied past Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware on Saturday, 60-59. The Flying Dutchmen host Wisconsin-Platteville at DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland next Saturday afternoon.
Leah Richards tossed in 15 points as Hope’s women cruised past the Belles of St. Mary’s in South Bend on Saturday, 92-45. The Flying Dutch are in Kalamazoo for a game against the Hornets next Saturday afternoon.
Grand Valley State split a basketball doubleheader with visiting Saginaw Valley State in Allendale on Saturday. Paige VanStee’s 18 points led the Laker women to victory in the opener, 92-45. Marquese Josephs and Triston Nichols each had 17 points, with Josephs’ free throw 10 seconds from time giving the Cardinals the decision in the nightcap, 81-80. GVSU’s women are home to Quincy at the Fieldhouse Arena next Saturday afternoon, while the men return to action on Wednesday, December 17, entertaining Malone.
