HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 5, 2025) – One of Holland’s most anticipated winter attractions begins on Friday night.
The fourth annual Magic at the Mill lights up the DeZwaan Windmill and Windmill Island Gardens, as for the next three Friday and Saturday evenings, the vintage Dutch-made icon of the Tulip City and its surroundings will be aglow, according to the Gardens’ Program Coordinator Andrea Bork.
In addition, the carousel will be lit up and running, a 250-foot-long abstract light walk will be illuminated between the light field and the main campus, an antique Dutch street organ will play traditional and modern holiday favorites, and adult guests can enjoy a hot mug of Bisschopswijn, a Dutch spiced mulled wine. Sinterklaas, the Dutch predecessor of Santa Claus, will be on hand starting on Saturday, after his appearance at the Tulip Time’s Sinterklaas Shuffle on Friday evening.
Tickets for those 16 and older at $14.70 each for four separate hour long sessions each evening are available through an online link here.
