DORR TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 7, 2025) – Paws With A Cause has completed their 10 million-dollar expansion and renovation of its headquarters in Dorr with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.
The non-profit serves over 20 states from its facility in northeast Allegan County, and the renovated training center includes equipment to help train the dogs for in-home care with a living room, kitchen, and deck with a grill, along with a simulated grocery store to get the dogs used to shopping.
Such efforts to enhance the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities is costly and time consuming, admits Sidney Baxter, Marketing and Communications Manager with Paws With a Cause.
There will be a community Open House to show off the new facility (4646 Division Ave.) on Saturday, from 10 AM to 3 PM. RSVP is requested through this online link.
