HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 31, 2025) – For the first time in 11 years, Halloween falls on on Friday.
While many parents are opting to have their kids attend organized “harvest parties” or “trunk-and-treat” events at a centralized place, many youngsters will undertake the traditional house-to-house “trick or treat” effort to collect candy and treats in their loot bags.
Allegan County Sheriff Frank Baker cautions motorists to be aware of the children in costume.
The kids must also not get caught up in the excitement of the evening.
Along the Lakeshore, trick-or-treat guidelines are as follows:
- Holland 6-8 PM
- Zeeland Downtown 3-5 PM, Neighborhoods 5-7 PM
- Saugatuck/Douglas 5-8 PM
- Fennville 6-8 PM
