Applications from licensed law enforcement officers to join the 151st Lateral Trooper Recruit School are now being accepted The 12-week recruit school, expected to begin next July, offers applicants an accelerated training opportunity that rewards their experience.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office has the opposite problem, somewhat, according to Sheriff Eric DeBoer.
DeBoer adds that there are still job openings in corrections and support in his office, and an online link for anyone interested is here.
