HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 2, 2025) – It was a little tough for motorists to travel on one of Holland’s busier arteries on Wednesday evening.
Holland Department of Public Safety Fire Operations crews were called to a two-and-a-half-mile stretch of Michigan & Washington avenues, from West 22nd Street to Matt Urban Drive, around 7 PM. They needed to clean up a fuel spill that came from a source, not immediately identified, which was along the far right southbound lane. It took several hours to address the matter, with no apparent vehicle damage or injuries ensuing.
Anyone with any information about the spill, or on the vehicle that may have caused the situation, is asked to contact HDPS Fire Operations at (616-355-1020).
