Brett Baty slugged a three-run homer in the fourth inning, and the visiting New York Mets went on to beat the Cubs last night, 8-5. Chicago is home to the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field this afternoon.
Giancarlo Stanton’s three-run double in the fifth inning put the Yankees ahead to stay, and New York went on to defeat the visiting White Sox last night, 5-3. Chicago takes on the Nationals in Washington this evening.
