OTSEGO, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 3, 2025) – The search is on for whoever torched part of a wooden playground in Otsego during the overnight hours on Tuesday.
Police officers and firefighters were dispatched around 12:20 AM to Northside Park, where they saw the play structure ablaze. While crews were able to quickly bring the flames under control, keeping it from spreading to the entire complex, investigators determined that the fire was indeed set deliberately.
No injuries were reported, and no suspects were immediately arrested. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Otsego Police Department (269-692-6111).
